|Chemistry Vocab Word Search #04()|
Are you looking for senior academic resources to support critical thinking and chemistry vocabulary? Here is a chemistry vocabulary word search puzzle that uses vocabulary found in the periodic table, but does not include the element names.
How to solve the puzzle:
-first, review the list of words, to engage the brain to know what to look for
-next, trace the letter paths for words hidden in the grid
-finally, track progress by crossing of each word as it is found in the grid
Other lesson plan activity ideas:
l. put the list of words in reverse alphabetical order
2. use list of words as writing prompts for report writing, explanatory writing, poetry writing
3. organize the words into categories, and be prepared to defend the rationale for the organization (eg. why might you include neutron, proton, electron, atomic mass in one category?)
Puzzle is suitable for students in senior and high school grades 9-12, home school environments and as a tutoring resource.
