Chemistry Vocab Scrambled Word Maze #02

Academic chemistry vocabulary word maze puzzle includes a list of 20 word clues, with their letters scrambled! Suitable for grades 9-12, academic chemistry and homeschooling environments.

Solve the puzzle:
-FIRST, rearrange the letters to reveal the words hidden in the word maze [record the correct spelling]
-REMEMBER: letter paths travel vertically, horizontally, forwards, backwards, but NOT diagonally
-NEXT, start at the circled letter
-NOTE: letter paths do NOT cross
-THEN: trace the letter paths from beginning to end, creating a maze like structure within the word search grid
-FINALLY, remember to track progress, by checking off the words

Other lesson plan activities could include:
1. students create their personal word search puzzles using any number of academic chemistry words [blank word searches link, below]
2a. innovate with more critical thinking skill activities: have students make connections between lists of chemistry words and elements of the periodic table [relevant puzzles found here: Chemistry-Periodic Table puzzles]
2b. here are other innovative ideas: 1) students organize information between the two word lists based on any number of criteria,or 2) match academic chemistry vocabulary with elements of the periodic table, or 3) encourage students to spell the chemistry vocabulary using periodic table symbols [e.g. using the elements: Carbon, Argon, Boron, Oxygen and Nitrogen, spell the word: C A R B O N; or could C A R B O N be spelled using different symbols?]
3. foster collaborative learning environments: have students work together on any of a number of activities above
