This Father's Day word search focuses on nouns related to Father's Day. To solve the puzzle, the solver must locate each of the words listed in the word bank, in the word search grid. Either circle the letters in the word, or draw a line through the letters to trace the path in the grid. Note that words can go vertically, horizontally or diagonally in all either directions.
This puzzle helps to support student consolidation of the 'noun' part of speech. At times, students might find that a noun can also be a verb. To extend the activity, have students write that word in a sentence to show the difference between the two. (ie. noun and verb).
