Solve the puzzle
1. first, review the list of words below the grid to engage the brain. This activates the brain to get ready to look for the words hidden in the grid.
2. Next, locate the words hidden in the grid. Word paths can travel up, down, right, and left. There are no diagonal letter paths.
3. Then, trace, or circle, the word paths.
4. Finally, track progress by crossing off each word as it is located in the grid.
Resource and choice board activities:
l. think of your favorite tune and then create a song, or rap, using list of words from the puzzle
2. draw pictures of any landforms from the list of words in the puzzle
3. record the definitions of the different landforms
4. encourage student CREATIVITY by having them construct their own word search puzzles to share (link below)
