Further extensions to decrypting this puzzle might include: 1. use the words in a poem for mom; 2. draw a picture; 3. write a story including as many words in the list as possible; 4. scramble the letters in the word and have a friend unscramble them; and 5. create a word search puzzle with the list of words.
