Are puzzles good for the brain? Any puzzle that engages the brain, requires thinking skills, helps improve connections between and among terms and concepts for kids is a great resource for making the brain think. To solve this freeform music vocabulary puzzle students need to fill in the blanks with each of the music terms. One strategy to use is to start with the words that have the least number of words in that category, preferably only one. Then find another word that shares a common letter. Continue filling in the blanks until all words have been placed.
