Here is a homographs hidden words word search puzzle to stretch your students' brains as they locate the words hidden in the grid. The challenge is that these word searches do not have a word bank. To solve the puzzle, students need to locate the words hidden in the grid, trace the letter paths and then record the words in the space provided. Flower is a plant, while flour is what you use to bake cakes, pies, pastries with. Homonyms are words that share the same spelling or pronunciation but have different meanings. For example, bat can be a homonym because it is both a flying mammal and a piece of sports equipment.
