Solve the puzzle
-Unscramble the letters to reveal the words used to fill in the blanks. Print the correct spelling.
-Review the list of words and note: the word with the least and the greatest number of letters.
-Using the letter hints, locate the words that match the letter hints and then fill in the blank spaces.
-Fill in the remaining blank spaces with the words that share common letters.
-Track progress by checking off each word as it is located.
Choice boards:
l. Students develop word search puzzles using blank templates (see link below).
2. Create treasure maps using a landform as the locale (and thinking outside the box): sand dunes, peninsula, in the sea, bay (remember to include a legend, compass rose)
3. Assemble a 3D model of a landform (student's choice), including color and labels.
4. Organize landforms using any number of categories: size, location, land, water, both, other category?
