Solve the puzzle
Step 1: Review the list of words in the word bank.
Step 2: Locate the start bubbles, which are the beginning letters of each word hidden in the grid. Word paths can travel up, down, right, and left. There are no diagonal letter paths.
Step 3: Trace, or circle, the word paths.
Step 4: Track progress by crossing off each word as it is located in the grid.
Lesson plan activity ideas to include in choice boards:
l. have students create a scrambled letters puzzle using list of landform words
2. create a 3-D model of a landform from the list of words
3. draw pictures of the different landforms
4. engage student CREATIVITY by having them construct their own word search puzzles to share (link below)
