How do you use puzzles to support student learning? Here is a Valentine's Day word search puzzle that does not include a list of words as clues. Students draw upon their knowledge base of words associated with Valentine's Day to find the words in the grid. Words can go horizontally, vertically and diagonally in all 8 directions.

This puzzle has 20 hidden words that students need to find. Students need to record the words as they are found.

This challenge is best suited to students in middle grades 6,7,8 classrooms, home schooling environments and as a tutoring resource.
