History Puzzles

Why are puzzles important in the classroom? In short, puzzles and brain teasers support brain health! Use puzzles to support ongoing curriculum and programming, which in term confers many benefits. Here are some benefits: improved memory, supports visual acuity, fine motor skill development, hand-eye coordination, increased brain connections between and among ideas and concepts, engages the brain, and activates problem solving strategies. This category of history puzzles includes: crossword puzzles, crosspatch and freeform printable puzzles, wordsearch puzzles, cryptograms, alphabetical order, spelling multiple choice, and cryptolist puzzles to engage students' vocabulary building and spelling. To add more interactive and encourage student leadership, here is a Black History Month bingo game!

Thinking of You!
